How do I choose between rail, road and express shipping?
Start with your origin and destination, shipment size, cargo type, urgency and pickup or delivery requirements. Rail can suit selected corridors, road can serve collection or regional movement, and express can suit smaller urgent shipments. Suitability depends on the route and shipment requirements; DGA can review the available options with you.
What information do you need for a rail or road freight quote?
Share the origin or pickup location, destination or delivery location, commodity, cargo ready date, packages, weight, dimensions or volume, and any special cargo status. Include your preferred mode, incoterm if applicable, and supporting documents. A city or address is enough to start; you do not need an exact rail terminal.
Can DGA arrange supplier pickup before the main transport?
Yes. DGA can coordinate supplier pickup and origin-side consolidation in China where requested and agreed. Share supplier locations, cargo ready dates and package details so the collection and handover requirements can be reviewed.
Can express shipping be used for batteries or special cargo?
Acceptance is reviewed case by case. Send product information, MSDS or supporting documents, and packing details. Carrier requirements, route restrictions and destination regulations determine whether an option can be confirmed. Batteries, liquids and other special cargo are not automatically accepted.
Can DGA combine different transport modes for one shipment?
Mode combinations depend on the route, cargo, carrier availability and shipment requirements. Share the collection and delivery locations so DGA can review feasible handovers and the scope of coordination. A combination is arranged only after the specific shipment plan is confirmed.
