Privacy Policy
How information is handled on our website and when you contact Shanghai DGA Global Logistics Co., Ltd.
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
01. Introduction and Who We Are
This policy explains how information is handled in connection with the website at www.dgagloballogistics.com and enquiries made to Shanghai DGA Global Logistics Co., Ltd. ("DGA", "we" or "us") through the contact channels linked from it.
DGA’s office is in Shanghai, China. This policy concerns this website and related enquiries. It does not automatically cover other companies, independent websites or services operated by third parties.
02. Information We Collect
Information you choose to send. When you contact DGA by email, WhatsApp or the Tawk.to chat service, we receive the contact details and information you choose to include. This may include your name, company, email address, WhatsApp number, shipment route, cargo details, service requirements and correspondence or chat content. Documents voluntarily sent through external contact channels may also contain personal information. Please share only information relevant to your enquiry.
Technical information used to provide the website and chat. Website delivery and security services may process connection and request information, including your IP address, requested pages, browser or device information and request times. Tawk.to may process visitor-session and technical information when its service loads, including when no chat message is sent. Cloudflare performance measurement processes browser and page-performance information as described in Section 05.
Request a Quote submissions. The published Request a Quote form sends the information you submit to DGA for enquiry handling. Its fields cover contact name, company, email, WhatsApp, origin or port of loading, destination or port of discharge, service required, cargo ready date, cargo description, shipment details such as package count, weight, volume, dimensions or container requirements where relevant, and your message or handling requirements. Supporting-document upload is currently disabled on that form.
03. How We Receive Information
We receive information when you submit the Request a Quote form, send us an email or WhatsApp message, or use the Tawk.to chat service. Website form submissions are sent as enquiry emails through FluentSMTP and the configured email service. Clicking an email link opens your email application without sending a message; opening a WhatsApp link also does not by itself send a message to DGA.
Where a contact link includes prepared service text, that text forms part of the link passed to the external service. You can review a message before deciding to send it. This is different from an automatic website form submission.
Technical request, visitor-session and performance information can arise when you visit the website or its chat service loads, as explained in Section 05. Any future document-upload feature or additional data-collection service would require a review of the relevant collection, storage and service-provider disclosures before activation.
04. How We Use Information
Information you submit through the quote form or send through email, WhatsApp or chat is used to review and respond to enquiries, discuss routes and cargo requirements, clarify requested services and communicate with you about the proposed shipment. The information needed depends on your enquiry.
Technical request and session information supports website delivery, security, chat continuity and troubleshooting. Performance measurements and diagnostic records help identify website problems and improve the website service. These technical activities are separate from preparing or responding to a freight enquiry.
05. Website Technology, Cookies and Analytics
The website uses WordPress and Bricks to present pages, Cloudflare for DNS, content delivery and security, and WP Rocket for caching and page optimisation. Website delivery, caching and security infrastructure may involve technical requests, cached resources and diagnostic information, depending on the service and configuration. WP Rocket is a website optimisation plugin; this does not establish that its vendor receives your enquiry content. Google Analytics (GA4) is not currently used on this website. Cloudflare real-user measurement (RUM) remains present for page-loading and performance measurement; the site-specific service settings still need final confirmation.
Cloudflare states that its RUM script does not use cookies or browser storage. An HTTP request still reaches Cloudflare with a source IP address; Cloudflare describes discarding that address at the edge for this RUM service. This statement is specific to RUM and does not describe all Cloudflare services or the website’s hosting and security logs. See Cloudflare’s RUM documentation for its explanation.
The website also has Rank Math’s simple 404 monitor enabled. In that mode, the documented records are the unavailable page path, access time and hit count. Query parameters are excluded in the current configuration. These records support website diagnostics.
Tawk.to is used for online chat and may process chat content and technical information related to visitor interaction. It may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to support chat and recognise visitor sessions. Some technical processing can begin when the service loads, before you send a message. Its configuration and any required consent or preference controls remain PENDING BUSINESS CONFIRMATION and legal review. No specific cookie names, lifetimes or data-centre locations are stated here. WordPress login cookies relate to website administrators rather than ordinary visitor accounts; visitor registration is disabled.
You can manage cookies through your browser’s settings. Any consent or preference controls required for the website are still subject to review; this policy does not itself provide those controls.
06. Sharing Information with Service Providers
The website relies on hosting and delivery infrastructure. Cloudflare handles the DNS, content-delivery, security and performance-measurement services described above and may process related technical information. Tawk.to provides the chat service and may process chat content, details you supply, visitor-session information and related technical data. See Tawk.to’s privacy information and Cloudflare’s privacy information for their descriptions. Hosting-provider details and the applicable service arrangements remain PENDING BUSINESS CONFIRMATION.
Website enquiry emails are routed through the FluentSMTP plugin and the configured email service. Enquiry content, recipient and sender details, message headers and delivery information may be processed in this email workflow and retained in business mailboxes or email-delivery logs. FluentSMTP is the website’s mail-routing plugin; this does not establish that its developer receives enquiry content. Email and WhatsApp services also process communications through their own systems. Provider arrangements, access and retention procedures remain PENDING BUSINESS CONFIRMATION.
07. International Data Processing and Transfers
DGA’s office and business team are in Shanghai, China. If you contact DGA from another country, your information may be received and handled by the team in China. The website and external communication services can also involve processing outside your location.
The locations and access arrangements of the origin server, email storage, chat service and other provider systems, and any required international-transfer safeguards, remain PENDING BUSINESS CONFIRMATION and legal review. This policy does not specify unconfirmed data-centre locations or transfer routes, or assert compliance with a particular international-transfer regime.
08. Data Retention
We retain information according to business needs, applicable legal requirements and internal processes, for no longer than 2 years unless legal or business requirements permit a longer retention period. This applies to information handled by DGA in connection with website enquiries and related communications.
Retention and deletion depend on the information involved, the applicable legal or business requirements and internal processes. This policy does not specify individual deletion dates or promise automatic deletion across every system. The detailed retention, review and deletion procedures for website email-delivery logs, business mailboxes, Tawk.to records, caches and backups remain PENDING BUSINESS CONFIRMATION.
09. Security
The website is accessed through HTTPS, which protects the connection between your browser and the website during transmission. This does not establish how information is protected in every email system, external service, stored record or backup.
No internet service can guarantee complete security. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal or confidential information in an initial enquiry.
10. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You can choose whether to contact DGA and what information to include. You can also contact us to ask how information about you is handled or to request a correction or deletion. The rights available, the information needed to assess a request, and any exceptions depend on the applicable law and circumstances.
The website administrator handles privacy-related requests received at [email protected]. A request does not trigger automatic deletion across all systems. Identity-verification steps, system coverage and the detailed correction, deletion and response procedures remain PENDING BUSINESS CONFIRMATION.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
Email links use your chosen email application or provider. WhatsApp links lead to an external communication service, and Tawk.to is a third-party chat service integrated into this website. Other external links may lead to independently operated websites or services. Their own privacy information describes their processing, including account, session and technical information associated with their use.
Please review the information provided by the service you choose. Using an external channel does not remove DGA’s responsibility for the information DGA receives and handles in responding to you.
12. Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for business freight and logistics enquiries and is not designed for children. That purpose does not rule out receiving information relating to a child. If you believe such information has been supplied to DGA, you can raise the concern through the contact below.
13. Updates to This Policy
Changes to website features, enquiry channels or data-processing arrangements may require this policy to be updated. The current quote form, email, WhatsApp, chat and technical services must remain accurately described. Any future document uploads or additional analytics would require a fresh review of the relevant disclosures.
Effective Date: October 13, 2026. The date shown on this page identifies when this policy takes effect.
