Prepare a Freight Enquiry

Start with where the goods will leave from, their destination or delivery point, and what you plan to ship. Include the package count, packed gross weight, and dimensions or volume.

Add the cargo ready date and the services you need, such as pickup, packing or destination delivery. Share what you already know; DGA can help clarify the remaining details.

QUICK REFERENCE

Coordinate Multiple Suppliers

List each supplier’s pickup location and cargo ready date separately. For each batch, share how it is packed, the package count, weight, and dimensions or volume.

Explain which origin services you need so DGA can review the collection and preparation requirements together.

Cargo compatibility, storage arrangements and the handling scope are reviewed for each shipment.

FAQ

Questions before you ship?

What information should I share first?

Start with the origin and destination, what you are shipping, and the cargo ready date. Provide the details you have; you do not need to complete every item before discussing the next step.

What if my cargo needs additional review?

Explain any special cargo, packing or handling needs. Share available product information and, where applicable, safety documents. Review is specific to the shipment and does not guarantee carrier acceptance.

Still need help with your shipment?

Send your question and the shipment details you already have.
